Groundsmaster 5900 Series mowers were designed to take on the largest mowing tasks. They can cut a swath of up to 16 ft. (4.9 m) wide with every pass, allowing an operator to mow over 100 acres (40.5 hectares) per day. Operators can also raise the left, right or front wing decks when needed to mow between objects and along narrower spaces.
Built for Years of Performance
Groundsmaster 5900 Series mowers set the standard for durability. Deep, rugged cutting decks are constructed of high-strength steel, with bullnose bumpers that withstand bumps and impacts. An EPA Tier 4 Final-compliant Yanmar® 3.3-liter turbocharged diesel engine helps the unit power through thick or tall cutting conditions. Horsepower is delivered efficiently through the innovative hydraulic systems and electric cooling system. In addition, InfoCenter™ alerts help keep the machine at top performance, minimizing downtime in the long run. Smart Technology
The productivity benefits of the Groundsmaster 5900/5910 aren’t limited to size and power, either. These units are loaded with intelligent features that save time and add efficiency. SmartPower® allows the operator to effortlessly maintain the correct speed for optimal cutting, while the SmartCool® system prevents overheating by auto-reversing the cooling fans to blow chaff and debris off the intake screen. The onboard InfoCenter also gives the operator a quick read on all systems at a glance.
Maximum Operator Comfort
Groundsmaster 5900/5910 models also feature a large ControlArm™ console, which positions key controls at the operator’s fingertips. For maximum comfort, the four-way adjustable seat and air-ride suspension adjust to the operator’s desired firmness to maximize comfort. The entire operator platform is isolation-mounted to reduce noise and vibration. And for year-round flexibility, a model is available with a factory-installed, climate-controlled all-season cab that features a low-profile roof, rollover protection system (ROPS) and an air filtration system that minimizes operator exposure to dust and debris.
Outstanding Maneuverability
Full-time bi-directional 4-wheel drive puts power where it’s needed. Plus, the CrossTrax® all-wheel drive system offers increased cross-wheel traction control. The units can also make 180˚ U-turns with no uncut grass left behind — so operators can mow closely around trees and other obstacles with zero trim.
