When you combine the agility of a zero-turn riding mower with the flexibility of an out-front rotary mower, you get serious productivity. Now there’s an option to stretch the productivity of this large mower even further. Toro has announced a new 100-inch cutting deck option for the popular Groundsmaster 360, allowing both wide-area mowing and trimming with one machine.

New Deck Option

Available in April 2014, the new three-section cutting deck features a 51-inch center deck and two 25-inch side wing decks that articulate up and down up to 15 degrees to follow the contours of the ground. The wing decks raise for transport, so the mower easily fits on a standard trailer. With a deck of this size, operators can mow up to 8 acres (3.2 hectares) per hour at 8 mph (12.9 km/h)*. That’s significantly faster than a 72-inch deck, which can mow up to 5.8 acres (2.3 hectares) per hour at the same speed.

Save Time and Money

Covering more ground in less time is just one advantage of the Groundsmaster 360. The zero-turn design also allows operators to mow in areas that are inaccessible to other large-area riding mowers.** Plus, Quad Steer™ all-wheel steering protects turf from damage, and a steering wheel provides added control. It all adds up to maneuverability and versatility unlike any other rotary mower, saving groundskeeping operations time and money.

Year-Round Productivity

In addition, Toro offers a Pro Force™ debris blower and several different snow removal attachments that mount to the front of the machine with Toro’s patented Quick Attach System™ (QAS), so you can use your Groundsmaster 360 year round. The new Pro Force debris blower makes quick work of clearing leaves and other debris with a nozzle that rotates 245 degrees and an adjustable height from 4.5 to 8.5 inches off the ground — all with performance that rivals its trailer-mounted counterparts. It attaches to the front of the Groundsmaster 360 for excellent visibility, and it’s designed to fit the 4-wheel drive model (QAS Kit required).

The Groundsmaster 360 is powered by a 36 hp Kubota® diesel engine, and is available with two-wheel or four-wheel drive. For more information, see your local Toro distributor or visit toro.com.
