New Workman® GTX Lithium Ion Lifted Raises the Bar

When it comes to customizing a utility vehicle to meet your needs, Toro’s Workman® GTX line has you covered with hundreds of possible configurations. And now you have the option to choose a lithium ion-powered model that combines higher ground clearance with lower fuel and maintenance costs.

Here’s the lowdown on what the new Workman GTX Lithium Ion Lifted has to offer:

  • Reduced maintenance costs. The vehicle’s lithium ion power packs are maintenance-free, eliminating expensive scheduled lead-acid battery replacement. That can potentially save you $1,500 to $2,500 USD every 1 to 3 years on lead-acid vehicles, ultimately improving ROI. Plus, with no daily battery maintenance, you’ll spend less time checking batteries and have more time to check tasks off your to-do list.
  • Class-leading capacity. With 1,200 lbs (544 kg) of capacity for a two-seat configuration with a bed, the Lithium Ion Lifted model has the largest cargo capacity of any lithium-ion powered model in its class. That’s plenty of muscle for big jobs.
  • Longer daily run time and overall battery life. The Lithium Ion Lifted model offers up to 25% longer run time when compared to the GTX-E lead acid model.
  • High-efficiency on-board charger. No need to keep track of your charger. It’s on board and ready to be connected to any standard power outlet anytime, anywhere.
  • Higher ground clearance. The Workman GTX Lithium Ion Lifted has three additional inches (7.6 cm) of ground clearance compared to traditional Workman GTX vehicles. This makes it easier for operators to drive over rough or uneven areas without causing damage. It also reduces the risk of accidentally dragging debris that can gouge the turf.
  • Turf-friendly footprint. Modern 12″ wheels and large 22″ tires help protect the turf by evenly distributing weight, and the tires feature a tread pattern specially designed for driving over turf. And the lithium-ion power packs are nearly 26% lighter than lead-acid batteries, reducing the machine’s overall weight for less wear and tear on fields and grounds.

Adaptable for Any Task
One of the biggest advantages of Toro’s Workman utility vehicles is versatility. Attachments and accessories make it easy to configure your vehicle to do more with a single machine. These are some of the ways you can customize your Lithium Ion Lifted model:

  • NEW steel bed accessory. Available for all current and former GTX models, the new steel bed offers 13.3 cu ft (0.38 cu m) of space — the most in its class. It offers the same 800-lb (363 kg) capacity as the poly bed with the added protection of water-resistant polyurea bed coating, which combines sound and vibration dampening with superior environmental/impact protection.
  • Multiple bed options. Flatbeds in four- and six-foot lengths are available to carry larger items, along with fold-down side rails or solid sides and an electric bed lift kit. A medical bed kit is also available.
  • Operator comfort options. Choose from two- or four-seat configurations with bench or bucket seats, plus a fold-down rear-facing seat that converts from a seat to a flatbed in seconds. For protection from sun and rain, you can also add a canopy with an optional windshield or a ROPS certified cab and a door kit.
  • Material carrying options. Other GTX accessories include bed racking for everyday items like rakes and shovels, and front and rear integrated receivers for mounting trash cans, walk spreaders, hose reels and more. Additional items include beverage units, an under-hood storage kit, and an L-track tie-down system kit.

Enhanced GTX Design
Toro has also upgraded the entire GTX lineup by enhancing suspension components for an even more comfortable ride, reducing maintenance requirements on multiple systems to save time and money, and lowering the sound level even further to help users move around properties while keeping disruption to a minimum.
